The Hovercrafts in Diddy Kong Racing vary with each character. Unlike the Cars and Planes, the Hovercrafts are usable in every level except for some battle stages and boss tracks. They appear to be very powerful as they are able to hover across water and even lava. However, hovercrafts are considered to be the most difficult vehicle to control, due to their tricky steering capabilities.
