Template:Minigame-infobox Smash Compactor is a Free-For-All minigame in Mario Party 9.
Introduction
The intro sequence features the four competitors on a platform. They then fall into four holes in the ground as the compactor falls to the ground. The players then emerge from the holes as the game begins.
Gameplay
The object of the game is to reach a glowing opening in the ground before the opponents do. Each round, there will be one less glowing hole then there are players. Once the allotted time to reach a safe zone is up, anybody who has not found one will be squished by the compactor and eliminated. The last player remaining wins.
Trivia
- The minigame's name is a pun on "trash compactor".
- Sometimes a Dry Bones will be on top of the compactor in the introduction.
