Template:Minigame-infobox Sock it to Lakitu is a Boss minigame in Mario Party 9.
Introduction
The Lakitu flies from the sky, spins around and pulls out a Spiny Egg and throws it onto the field with all the players.
Gameplay
The players must hit blocks with Bullet Bills inside them to attack Lakitu. Up to 3 Bullet Bills can be launched at a time. Each Bullet Bill that hits Lakitu earns the player 1 point. There are also Spinies in the blocks, and if the player hits a Spiny, they'll lose 1 point. Once Lakitu's health is down to halfway, he will throw a larger Spiny, which deducts two points from any player that hits it. When Lakitu's health is down to 0, the player with the most points wins.
Ending
Once the last Bullet Bill hits Lakitu, he is flung off, releasing a bunch of Mini Stars.
