Item Shops are places where the people of the Mushroom Planet can buy and sell items and accessories in the games Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Paper Mario, and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Various characters and heroes also purchase weapons and armors at Item Shops.
The first shop in Super Mario RPG consisted of these purchasable items:
- Able Juice, 4 Coins, Heals bad magic
- Antidote Pin, 28 Coins, Prevents Poison
- Honey Syrup, 10 Coins, Gives 10 FP (Flower Points)
- Jump Shoes, 30 Coins, Jump on any foe.
- Pick Me Up, 5 Coins, Revives downed ally.
