There is a ring of spikes at the base of each machine that are lethal to to the solo player's touch. The solo player must run around, avoiding contact with the team's machines for forty-five seconds (sixty in the beta version) to win. If two machines collide, they will crash and malfunction for about two seconds before control is returned.
