A Tanooki-tailed Goomba is a Goomba with a Tanooki tail. It attacks by swinging its tail not unlike Raccoon Mario or Tanooki Mario.
History
Super Mario 3D Land
Tanooki-tailed Goombas make their first appearance in Super Mario 3D Land, where they attack like Raccoon Mario. They are defeated like normal Goombas. There are also golden and giant varieties. They appear to be able to fly like Tanooki Mario.
Trivia
- Tanooki-tailed Goombas bear major resemblence to Tanoombas from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.
