In case you didn't hear, since Edofenrir (talk) took on the job of Sub-Director of The 'Shroom, I'm now the director of Fake News:

How to Apply to Write for the Fake News To write for the Fake News, you must follow these steps: First, you require an account on the MarioWiki Forum, so you can post rapidly about how you just applied for a job! do the next step. Next, send Grand Wheelie (that's me :P) a personal message on the MarioWiki Forum. Please don't ask to write for the Fake News on my talk page. In this message, you must answer these questions: Which position would you like to apply for? (the sections that are currently open can be found here) The staff reserves the right to remove writers from their position if they engage in activities that reflect badly on The 'Shroom. These activities include extensive misbehavior on the Super Mario Wiki and/or its forums. Do you agree to not engage in such activities for the entire duration of your employment? Now for the most important step: you must write a full-length demo of the section you would like to write. After you have sent this to me, the 'Shroom's Core Staff will evaluate your section; trust me, it can take quite a long time. If you got the job, congratulations! Make sure to send me your section on time and covered in delicious salad dressing. If you already write for the Fake News, then...why are you reading this? o_O

To celebrate this special occasion, the Core 'Shroom Staff has decided to host a number of events. One of these events involves inviting special guests to write a special section.
