Mario games that I own and my brief reviews of them Ratings are out of 10, 10 being "flawless" and 1 being "As playable as a toaster oven" Game Cover Story Graphics Sound Gameplay Replayability Overall Comments File:Donkey Kong NES Cover.PNG 7.0 8.0 9.0 9.0 7.0 8.0 An overall solid game for the early 1980s. Definately worth a purchase, but stay under $15. File:SMB Boxart.PNG 8.0 7.0 9.0 10.0 9.0 8.6 A great NES classic, but graphics could be better. If you don't have this, then get it now. File:SMB TLL Boxart.PNG 7.0 8.0 6.0 6.0 5.0 6.4 Definitely not worth the extra dollar. The story, music, and gameplay are too unoriginal, and the levels are unnecessarily hard. Definitely worth a checking out. 8.0 9.0 10.0 9.0 9.0 9.0 Improved on its predecesors in infinite ways. No wonder it's still selling so well. NES Version 8.0 10.0 10.0 10.0 8.0 9.2 Fantastic puzzler. One of the best NES games ever made. 5.0 5.0 8.0 8.0 3.0 5.8 Gameplay is same old, nothing new. No replayability at all, and the graphics and story are just bee-ay-dee. BAD. But give it some props for starting an award-winning series N/A 8.0 9.0 10.0 8.0 8.8 A strong title that deserves to be in any Mario library. Only flaw is the lack of replayability, but even that is somewhat made up by the epic gameplay. I mean, come on, a Mario game about a vacation with a talking water pump and a subliminal message about graffiti? Great in theory, awesome in execution. Not as good as 64 or Wii, but still a great choice if you want rough'n'tumble kart action. 10.0 9.0 7.0 10.0 9.0 9.0 Improves the story and gameplay, but forgets to make catchy tunes and super-appealing graphics.
