Template:Species-infobox Horses (Japanese: 馬, Uma) are animals that live on Planet Earth. They haven't yet been seen in the Mushroom World in the Mario series, although they do live in Hyrule from the The Legend of Zelda series. Horses are first seen in Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, currently only available in the game for the Wii.

Horses are currently known to be found in London of Europe, as the game takes place where they appear, but they are supposedly found everywhere in the Real World.

Horses have made their first Mario series appearance in Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. There are a variety of Horses in the game, such as brown, bright brown, and white. The Equestrian is set in Greenwich Park, where they are found.[1] They can be ridden by certain characters of the game. The player has to hold the Wii Remote on its side and move up and down as if they were reins to speed up. The player needs to slow down and angle his or her Remote to steer around corners before galloping up to a fence and leaping over it.
