The Maxim Tomato is an item in the Kirby series also used in the Super Smash Bros. series.
In Super Smash Bros., if a character picked it up, he or she would be healed 100% points of damage. This does not mean, however, that the player would be fully healed. It simply takes off 100% damage. For example, if a character had 150% and picked one up, theyir damage meter would decrease to 50% damage.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee they acted similarly, but only healed 50% worth of damage.
