The Oho Jee are natives that live on a small island in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. There are two varieties on the main island: Red Oho Jee, that are healed by Firebrand and critically hurt by Thunderhand, and Blue Oho Jee, who are healed by Thunderhand and hurt by Firebrand.

They are not enemies however if they are hurt by Firebrand/Thunderhand they will turn wild and face Mario and Luigi to a battle. The brothers have no choice but to beat them. However this helps them get Experience points and items. Their only attack is spinning wildly at the brothers.

Two smaller islands south of Oho Oasis house a Green Oho Jee and a Purple Oho Jee, both of which sport afros.

According to a boombox lest of Oho Oasis by a Beanish scientist, one of the scientists was attacked by an Oho Jee, and was then transformed into one. However, Mario and Luigi do not get transformed when attacked.
