If you have questions, fire away. - Gabumon(talk) 07:57, 16 March 2011 (EDT) To create a signature, you need to create the page User:RussellsDad/sig. Put the coding for your signature there. Once you did that, click on "my preferences" up there on the top of the page. You will find a section that reads "New Signature", as well as a textfield. Enter {{SUBST:nosubst|User:RussellsDad/sig}} there. Check the box that reads "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)". After that, every time you sign your comments with ~~~~, your custom signature will be used instead of the default one. Unfortunately, new users can't create pages right off the bat. You need to wait until you get auto-confirmed. I remember it took a month for me for some reason. I think it is also somehow connected to the number of edits you made.
