Template:Minigame-infobox Shorty Scorers is a mini-game in Mario Party DS. This game is very similar to soccer, except for the fact that one dribbles like they would in basketball, and the fact that one can attack the other players to get the ball. At the start of each point, the ball is dropped at the center of the field. One player can then grab it and then proceed to bring it to the goal. At the goal, there is a cardboard cutout of a Goomba, serving as the goalkeeper. If the ball gets past the Goomba, a point is scored. The game continues exactly the same way for 45 seconds. When the whistle has blown and the game ends, the winning players will be seen in the front, doing their victory dance, with the losers behind them.

Controls

  • D-pad- Move
  • A Button- Jump
  • B Button- Punch/Shoot
  • Y Button- Pass

Rules

Work with your partner to get as many balls into the other team's goal as possible. The goalkeepers move left and right automatically.

Tips

You can punch other players to get the ball away from them. And they can do the same to you!
