Template:Articleabout Template:Level The Overthere is a place visited in the latter half of Chapter 7 of Super Paper Mario. It is essentially the opposite of The Underwhere. While Queen Jaydes rules the Underwhere, her husband, King Grambi, rules the Overthere. The boss of the Overthere is Bonechill.
The Overthere is inhabited by Nimbis, all of whose names end in -bi (pronounced like "be"). Interestingly, there appears to be a schematic system of naming Nimbis, be it days of the week (Monbi (monday), Tuebi (tuesday), etc.), months (Janbi (January), Febbi (February), etc.) or even colors (Rebbi (red), Blubi (blue), Yebbi (yellow)). Nimbis can be compared to angels.
The only way to reach The Overthere is via the Overthere Stair, a series of clouds and Jump-Over Clouds leading up from Underwhere Road.
There is an Itty Bits shop in the Overthere, located near the Rainbow Bridge. Its most notable item in stock is the Hot Sauce, and it also sells Hot Dogs.
While the Overthere serves as the latter half of a dimension that is collectively called the Underwhere (despite only half of it being the Underwhere), only Chapter 7-4 takes place in the Overthere itself. Chapter 7-3 takes place in the Overthere Stair, similar to how Chapter 7-2 took place in the Underwhere Road.
Chapter 7-4: A Bone-Chilling Tale
Template:Spoiler During the events of Super Paper Mario, Bonechill and his army of Skellobits were released from their prison in the Underwhere by Count Bleck. They escaped from the dark realm and laid siege on the Overthere, in an attempt to capture the Pure Heart said to be held by King Grambi. As Bonechill took over Grambi's abode, the Skellobits--reaching as far as the upper reaches of the Overthere Stair--attacked and imprisoned the Nimbis. Coincidentially, the invasion began shortly before Mario and Luvbi reached the Stair.
However, upon reaching King Grambi, Mario and Luvbi discovered from Bonechill that Luvbi was an embodiment of the Pure Heart, made by Jaydes and Grambi so as to protect it. The entire invasion was just a lure to capture Luvbi. Mario and Bonechill did battle, and in the end Mario won. However, not all news was good news; Jaydes arrived, and the truth became apparent: Luvbi had to fade from existence, allowing Mario to take the white Pure Heart. However, after the game is beaten, Luvbi can be seen in Grambi's shrine with Grambi and Jaydes. According to them, Luvbi appeared in the shrine. This probably happened when Count Bleck and Tippi married at the end of the game to destroy the Chaos Heart. Template:Endspoiler

Trivia
- The Nimbis in The Overthere speak in a pseudo-Elizabethan language, like in the King James Bible. However, the dialect the Nimbis speak appear simply to replace common pronouns such as "I" or "you" with Elizabethan equivalents (mine, thou). These words can be changed depending if they are the subject or not, such as "you" being (thou, subject, and thee, not subjective). Also, the suffix -est seems randomly tacked to certain verbs. (i.e. "thou-knowest-what" instead of "you-know-what")
- A bar that serves coffee beneath Flopside is named "The Overthere."
- According to The InterNed, the music in the Overthere and the Overthere Stair is titled, "Overthere Stair."
- The Overthere is modelled after the Elysian Fields in Greek mythology.
