Flower Patches are found in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. It is found on the course Peach's Castle Grounds. Hitting a ball from out of the Flower Patch affects a player's shot, making it shorter and lower. When a ball lands in a Flower Patch, Pikmin jump out.
Flower Patches are also seen in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. They are found scattered around Princess Peach's Castle, as well as other parts of the game. They are small in size and yellow in color. In Super Mario 64 DS, the rabbits often hide within the Flower Patches.
In Super Mario Galaxy and it's sequel, they reappear once more. Sometimes, the player my notice a sparkle in the flower patch. If the player walks into the sparkle or shakes the Star Pointer at it, a Star Bit or Coin may pop out.
