A Beach Koopa is a Koopa Troopa without its shell and wearing nothing more than a shirt and boxers. In Super Mario World, the blue ones will kick a shell if they come in contact with one.
The Beach Koopas are found primarily in Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
In Super Mario 64 and Super Mario64 DS, the player would have to jump on a Koopa in order to make a Beach Koopa. If jumped again,it would die. However, it can run back into it's shell. But before it can do that, you can ride the shell. The player can defeat the Koopa by smashing into it while ride the Koopa's shell.
