Hello, if you accidentally came here to look at my userpage, click here! Otherwise, welcome to my talkpage. :3 This is where all your comments, questions, and concerns are written here for me to look over them. Here are some guidelines:
- Add "~~~~" next to your sig or comment, that way, I can tell how recent your comment was written.
- Do not make unnecessary headers/sections.
Upon replying your message, in your own talk page, here is my signature: RAP...
NOTICE: If you came here to talk to me why your userpage was changed in any way by my edits -- there's a reason! A few months ago, the wiki had announced that every user would have to clean up their userpages, mainly due to the fact most users don't read the rules, and we are recently experiencing server lags. (Recently Steve removed the message some time ago, but the rules still apply!) As a result, your userpage may be edited without warning. If you read a summary of my edit, it will tell you the following things I did to your userpage.
If you still have questions concerning my recent activity of cleaning up userspace, respond to me in this talk page maturely. Otherwise, I will remove your comments w/o answering due to flaming. |

Hey, please don't delete pages whose deletion I was dicussion about on the talk page just minutes ago. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 16:03, 9 December 2009 (EST)
Just a question...
Hey, I know that it's probably none of my buisiness...but I noticed that you were deleting users for having only userpage edits. Is that because they only edited their userpage or just had most of their edits there. I'm only asking because I don't want to be at risk. If you want, you can delete this - like I said, it's probably none of my buisiness.
-Cmario17File:Staring Mario.jpg 00:29, 10 December 2009 (EST)
- OK, thanks for clarifying that - I didn't even know that users could be deleted until now. Usually I see users that are 'blocked indefinitely'.

Could you please restore that Fake fake news thing, i havent been on for a while and it was deleted before i noticed your message. Once i copy and paste it, thatll be alright and you can delete it then. But really. WHY?????
yeah, you logged off, so i asked time q and tucayo, and tucayo logged off.
Possilble socks?
I noticed a lot of "Dry..." users from your deletion log and I was wondering if they are possible socks. It might be coincidence, but it doesn't hurt to check. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
Hey there
I'm good. I'm up most nights pretty late, though especially lately because I have to vote on a site every 24 hours for a friend. It's pushing me. So, just on here. I sometimes hit the Random page navigation button and expand or correct whatever it takes me to. Got rid of a dozen or so stubs last night. So yeah, up late working on a Mario wiki. Killer pastime.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Redstar (talk).
- You can tell I'm tired, then. I almost never forget... It's a photo contest my friend from high school is, female. One for "best facial feature" and one Christmas-themed. I've been voting and having friends vote every 24 hours and managed to push her into the top 100... I do like my page, despite the wall-o-text feel to it. I'm probably going to trim the introducing myself paragraphs and find some sort of an image. But, I do like the record. I try to mention what I feel I've done was especially notable as well as the circumstances involved... I haven't seen them, but I'll do so now. Redstar 04:33, 22 December 2009 (EST)
- I forgot to answer one of your questions from the last message. No, I'm not a writer on the actual Wikipedia. I tried getting into it, but many articles are outright abandoned while others have their own "rulers" that won't allow anyone else to edit. It just didn't have the community feel to it. I really only edit here and Bulbapedia, and even over there I don't edit too often despite their greater sense of professionalism. They basically having everything there done already anyways.
- Yes, Merry Christmas. Happened here an hour and a half ago, stroke of midnight... Life is good and bad. Depends on what I choose to remember and what I choose to appreciate that's happening right now. I'll manage as I always have... Your work is tedious, but it's getting something done. I recall having a wait-time of over three minutes or even longer when going to the main page. Now everything seems to be handled much better. Everything counts. Redstar 04:30, 25 December 2009 (EST)
- Yes, Wikipedia generally is only a general resource. I have found some good tidbits there, and sometimes the article are fun for a reading-binge, but overall dedicated fan Wikis and TVtropes satisfy my desire for information much better.

- Indeed. I'll get over it soon enough, only to have it back again in a few days. A cycle I won't see the end of for sure until this coming May. But there's things good enough in-between until then. Redstar 04:47, 25 December 2009 (EST)
Userpage
Umm... How do I keep calm when you deleted almost every single f'ing thing on my userpage? Especially since I wasn't here (I had left) when the proposal or whatever it was was made? I didn't make any mistakes, for I could do that when I left, and because no one (not even you) told me any of this after I came back, I could still do it. So if no one is going to inform me of the new rules that were added while I was gone then I need to be an exception because I wasn't told any better. Don't imply rules to someone who doesn't know them WITHOUT A WARNING. I am going to promptly change these back until I get some sort of apology. Good day to you. User:Dry Paratroopa/sig
The Evil Science Lab was my to-do list and personal SandBox. Which according to User space page is allowed. I just used a new page instead of cluttering my userpage. SO why was it deleted? And the same goes for the Historic Tower of Userboxes. Just making sure my userpage isn't cluttered. But the Torture Chamber was indeed useless XD. User:Dry Paratroopa/sig
Hi...
What happened to my sig? Changing the picture is fine and all, but what happened to my Sig2? Why is it deleted and what the heck is wrong with this one. Also, why didn't you inform me? {{SUBST:User:Gamefreak75/Sig2}} <---Look I can't even SIGN ANYMORE!
- Okay, so basically I have to just input :{{User:Gamefreak75/Sig}} into my preferences? I'll see how it comes out.--FREAK ~Game Freak~ OUT!
Scratch tha comment, can you protect my archive? P.S. Sorry for excessive edits on your page.--MERRY ~GameFreak~ CHRISTMAS!

Eh, I've been trying to get on chat for most of the day, but I can't connect. The weather's really bad outside, so I think it's making my internet connection really bad. I'll probably be able to get on to chat once things clear up in about 3 days. — Stooben Rooben 02:59, 23 December 2009 (EST)
- Not as bad as I used to, but it still takes a while to load the wiki while I'm on chat, which is why I don't edit very much while I'm on chat. — Stooben Rooben 22:30, 7 January 2010 (EST)

User Page Edit
- Guess I didn't get the memo about the new user page rules. Of course, nowadays I haven't done very much to my user page. Therefore, a lot of the stuff can just be taken out. M&SG (talk) 08:10, 26 December 2009 (EST)
- I recently made major changes to my user page, so that it follows the user page rules that you've stated. The next time you view it, the page will be much smaller than it was before. If there are still some things that I need to change or remove, just let me know. M&SG (talk) 08:41, 26 December 2009 (EST)
Re: Proposals
Yeah, it is flawed, but I needed something. If you want, you can take over and improvise it. I do post on the admins board, but it just isn't a priority. I'd rather improve the wiki by unstubbing articles. As for why I deleted my user page... maybe I beat you to it.--Knife (talk) 02:06, 27 December 2009 (EST)
Later today doesn't work for me (literally, I have to go to work). How about tomorrow at the same time (Tuesday @ 4-4:30)?--Knife (talk) 08:46, 25 January 2010 (EST)
I did show up, but I don't think you were there. Of course, I did go by central time so we might have not shown up at the same time. Anyway, I'll drop by from time to time and query you whenever I see you.--Knife (talk) 00:07, 28 January 2010 (EST)
I can probably make it on Friday. I assume you probably go by Pacific Time? If so, we need to make it 6-6:30 Pacific Time. 5-5:30 Pacific is too early for me since in Central Time, that is 3-3:30, right after school. Now that we know that we know the times, we should be prepared. Of course any time later that is preferred (I'm more active at night time).--Knife (talk) 19:44, 28 January 2010 (EST)
I guess you didn't show...--Knife (talk) 17:51, 29 January 2010 (EST)
Huh? I said 6:30 Pacific, not 3:30.--Knife (talk) 21:50, 29 January 2010 (EST)
My connection is really bad right now, we're going to have to do this later.--Knife (talk) 22:20, 29 January 2010 (EST)
How about 7 Pacific on Sunday?--Knife (talk) 22:43, 29 January 2010 (EST)
Unused Images
I'm surprised that nobody deleted the useless images yet. You have LuigiMadness's images, which contains far too many Personal Images. Then you have the duplicate images of Mario Super Sluggers (Yoshi, Diddy Kong, Waluigi, Wario). Then there's the duplicate Magikoopa and the unused PIs of Zafum. And then we have the requested to be deleted Yoshi images, the Pikmin, the red coin and the SMB enemies. And last we have the pointless money image, the pointless Fire Minis image and the pointless Ultra Mushroom image. The Wario images will be used once their respective articles are created. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Hey, RAP, can you delete this image for me? It was an experiment gone WAY wrong, and I'd really like it gone. Thanks! Funky K 38
- Thanks again, RAP!
Big Bully
I don't believe that the trivia section belongs on this article for several reasons. First, the statement is wrong because the feature is also in Super Mario 64 DS. Also it is speculation and has no proof what so ever. Plus Big Bully is a species not an exact singular boss. Since you are a sysop, i felt that as a new user it would be best to ask about your opinion before i act. I'll leave it up to you to have the say on whether or not it should be removed. Big Bully 23:58, 2 January 2010 (EST)
Thamks! And sorry about not putting it on the talk for the article. I'm still new and am learning the ropes here on Mario Wiki. Big Bully 00:24, 3 January 2010 (EST)
Chat
Just from sheer curiosity, were you on chat today on #mwikitalk as Brian_Setzer? "Brian" claimed to be you, but his IP looked similar to Noahp89's. And the way he talked was... well, not the way you talk, simply put. If "Brian" was indeed someone impersonating you, I guess I'll leave it to you as to what will happen. The next time Noah is online I can check his address and see if he was the impostor. Just letting you know. --Garlic Man (talk)
Unneeded GameCube pic
Image:Gamecube.PNG used to be the main image for GCN, but it's since been replaced with a different one, since the first image was (for some reason) backwards. The old, black one is currently only used in one of User:Spongy3000's userboxes. Could you replace the GameCube image on his userpage with the new pic, and then delete the old one? Thanks. --Garlic Man (talk)

Hi can You delete this art? Image:Grand Theft Mario.jpg I dont want it anymore. Travix Man
Re: Hey there!
Hello. I'm fine, thanks. At the moment, I'm more into uploading Wario images as you can see. ;-) I'll try to look for unresolved talk pages tomorrow. --Grandy02 17:34, 22 January 2010 (EST)
- Okay, I'll keep an eye on the user when I'm online. But the first edits of her or him don't look very promising... --Grandy02 05:49, 23 January 2010 (EST)

Since you've been removing incorrect entries in the Enemies article, I'd like to help. Are organizations of regular enemies like Hamma, Bamma, & Flare to be deleted from the list? Hello, I'm Time Turner.
MarioWiki:Proposals/2010/20
How is anybody going to see it? there should be a link called MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive/2010 that will be linked from MarioWIki:Proposals/Archive. Same thing goes with all the 2009 and 2008 and any other proposals too. KS3 (talk · contribute)
Proposal
I found a deleted proposal. It's down there. I don't know why, but the proposer forgot to archive it. KS3 (talk)
Change Rules in Featured Images page
If anybody had ever voted on the Featured Images page, he/she could see that some images have fan votes on them (e.g. luigi+ball=epic fail). One problem with fan votes is that they make our wiki biased and unprofessional. Second, we vote on images for quality, not if a character is in it. Third, unlike Featured Articles, fan votes really do make a difference in the Featured Images page since the support votes are subtracted by oppose votes. Also, some users are giving out bad or even no reasons why they oppose an image (e.g I don't like this picture).
I propose that we should change the rules in the Featured Image nomination. If this proposal passes, everyone will need to give a valid reason to support/oppose an image. If a person fails to give a valid reason for a vote, then a sysop can delete the vote. A user can report to a sysop if he/she finds a vote with an invalid reason.
This is my first proposal. If I make any mistakes, please correct it.
Proposer: LeftyGreenMario (talk)
Deadline: February 28, 2010 21:00
Support
- LeftyGreenMario (talk) If this proposal passes, then our nominated images won't get torn to pieces by fan votes or invalid votes. Like I said, fan votes or invalid reason actually DO harm to the featured images unlike the featured articles.
- Fawfulfury65 (talk) Some votes are just really stupid, and you can't do anything about it, especially when the voter doesn't reply to you in the comments section or anything. I really think this would be good so... per proposal.
- King Bean (talk) - Like Fawfulfury said, the fan votes are just stupid. They aren't a reason. I have disliked this for long, and it should be fixed.
- Mr bones (talk) - I don't like fan votes because they don't mean anything. So it should be removed.
Oppose
- Time Q (talk): How I dislike that "fan vote" discussion >.> Anyways, what we're talking about here is images. Whether you like an image or not is a totally subjective thing. There ARE no possible "valid" reasons if you just like an image. You can't force people to "reason" their personal taste, that's absurd. Really, if "fan votes" are such a problem to you, don't give reasons at all, like almost all users did when we started the FIs.
- KS3 (talk) Instead of doing that, we should do the same as the new rules of Featured Articles. We should have this set of rules that determine when the quality of a picture is great enough so we can put it on the main page. We should also reuse old pictures like the FA.
Or an alternative is to get rid of the FI altogether, getting a lot of stress off the Sysops backs. - Tucayo (talk) - Per most Time Q said and per some things KS3 said.
- Garlic Man (talk) -- Per the "it's all opinion" argument that I've made in the past multiple times. I am sometimes compelled to support a nomination with the reason "This is awful!".
- MATEOELBACAN (talk) Per Time Q, the featured images supports/opposes depend of the thought of each person, you cannot say them to change of opinion.
- Marioguy1 (talk) - Per all, the FI page, while it has some major problems with people putting oppose reasons in the support section, is all a matter of opinion. Somebody may think that the fact that (i.e.) an image has a logo in the corner is minor meanwhile others may think that it is a big problem. It depends on what you see is a problem. Sure some of the people have to change their frame of mind so that they actually put a support vote in the support section...but either way - people's opinions vary.
- Pie Shroom (talk) Per all.
- Stooben Rooben (talk) - Per Time Q and Garlic. When evaluating quality, everything is subjective, whether it's how much one likes the characters in the image, the colors in the image, how clear the image is, or even what style it is.
Comments
Time Q: Yeah, I hate this fan vote discussion too. If this proposal passes, then we should never talk of this again. Anyway, a lot of great quality images are opposed because of these fan votes, and there was a proposal on deleting the FI, and one of the reasons was because of too many fan votes. LeftyGreenMario (talk)
- Uhm, no, I made the proposal, and that was not one of my reasons. Anyway: be reasonable. As I said above, it's absurd to force users to reason their personal taste. Time Q (talk)
- And neither did the person named Red Shell 68066vr. KS3 (talk)
- But some pictures look obvious such as that water picture and some other horrid pictures. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)
- So what? Opposers can put a reason for those pictures. But users should not be forced to put reasons on every picture. Time Q (talk)
- I just don't want a bad picture that ends up getting featured (Bowser Stirkers, anyone? There was a Luigi Strikers, but that got put down). BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)
- As you can see, a lot users like that Bowser picture. But that's not the point. How would this proposal prevent bad pictures getting featured? Time Q (talk)
- There was a single picture of a Yoshi eating a cookie. A lot of users supported it at first, but then, I (and others) came in and opposed. If we didn't oppose, then that would end up getting featured. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)
- As you can see, a lot users like that Bowser picture. But that's not the point. How would this proposal prevent bad pictures getting featured? Time Q (talk)
- I just don't want a bad picture that ends up getting featured (Bowser Stirkers, anyone? There was a Luigi Strikers, but that got put down). BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)
- So what? Opposers can put a reason for those pictures. But users should not be forced to put reasons on every picture. Time Q (talk)
If you don't like a picture and you can't find a decent reason for it, just don't vote. You are not forced to vote on an image. LeftyGreenMario (talk)
- Okay, let's put the rule to the test. Say, I don't consider your reason on the Avalanche! image valid. You just say it's "funny" and "has action". Now who would decide whether this is valid or not? Also, if a lot of users liked that Yoshi picture BLOF mentioned, then that means many people wanted to see that on the Main Page. You can't just say you're "more right" than them just because you don't liked it. Time Q (talk)
Then I'll remove my vote. LeftyGreenMario (talk)
- So you would accept that anyone had to remove their vote if someone considered it invalid? Are you really serious? Time Q (talk)
Hm, so the real problem of this rule is what makes a vote invalid. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

Your MarioWiki:Proposals/2008/45 says Merge all Recipe Lists into Recipes, but that's incorrect. The link given should explain why. KS3 (talk)

You mixed up the headers, and I'm no good with scripting, so can you fix it? Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- Sorry, this was a mistake on my part. First off, I was talking about those little headers: Game screenshot, game logo, character artwork, and the like. I didn't realize that those headers were for what's above it, and not below it. So, just ignore my question. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
Actually... (WarioWare: D.I.Y.)
That logo you uploaded was actually the version for Nintendo of Europe's regions; you "replaced" that over the logo for Nintendo of America's regions. :( --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! User Page | Talk Page 01:08, 22 April 2010 (EDT)

Hey RAP, I was just looking at the new Poll Election thing and I was wondering; why is it MarioWiki:The 'Shroom/Poll Chairperson election and not Template:Fakelink - that was the title of the election that it was based off of so why aren't they under the same names? Just wondering if you could move it or tell me why you can't, thanks! Marioguy1 (talk)
