The Party Tent is the main attraction of the Star Carnival in Mario Party 8. It appears in the lower right of the carnival and is the second biggest tent. In this tent, characters can play on the five (six counting the unlockable one) boards and play as all 12 (14 counting the unlockable) characters. Players can't play as Miis though.
The players choose between three game types: Battle Royale, Tag Battle, and Duel Battle. In Battle Royale, it is everyone for themselves. (1 on 1 on 1 on 1) In Tag Battle players choose two teams of two and go head to head. In a Duel Battle two players play against each other and play duel minigames.
