Bronze Stars are items similar to Power Stars that Mario can get in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are worth the same amount as normal Power Stars, and can only be collected if Mario needs help by the Cosmic Spirit instead of getting the star himself. Though, if he manages to get the star without help, the Bronze Star will be replaced by a Power Star.
