Tulips are giant flying red flowers in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. When an egg (or a spit-up enemy) falls inside a tulip, the flower will start spitting out stars. Like almost everything in the Marioverse, Tulips have eyes.
