Red-Brief J is a boss in the video game Wario World. Named after his attire, Red Brief-J is a large, effeminate anthropomorphic bull. The boss of Thrillsville, players face him after clearing Beanstalk Way.
Red-Brief J has the largest variety of attacks of any of the bosses in the game. First and most common, he absorbs red energy and charges toward Wario at full speed. As the fight goes on, he adds one charge for every health point he's lost. Secondly, after summoning purple-colored energy, he jumps up and crashes down, dunking almost the entire arena into the lava. Wario must stay on the raised, middle section to dodge it. In his third attack, Red-Brief J would jump, hover in the air, and dive at Wario extremely fast. This is usually followed by a fourth attack where he fires multiple fireballs at Wario from the hoof on his arm. J's fifth and final attack type is when he draws in pink energy. He begins to twirl like a ballerina toward Wario. The attack has an insane homing ability, so it's tough to dodge.
To defeat the bull, who is invulnerable to Wario's punches, Wario must wait for Red to do one of his huge charges. If dodged just right, the hulking bull would lose control and end up teetering on the edge of the arena over the lava. When this happens, Wario must immediately Ground Pound the middle section of the stage, causing Red-Brief J to fall off. After five dunks in the lava, Red-Brief J succumbs and Wario receives the third Giant Treasure Chest Key. Red-Brief J, along with Dinomighty, are the only bosses to appear in the video game's official artwork.
