I was reading Italian Wikpedia (for... some reason) and on Bowser's article, Larry's name is attributed to [[wikipedia:Larry Mullen|Larry Mullen]]. I checked out the article, and decided it's a plausible idea, since both Larry and Mullen have mohawks... sort of. I suppose it's possible. I'd like to think that he is named after Mullen (I'm a U2 fanatic), but it would probably be best to get some non-wiki references to provide some support for your claim.
