A Large Coin is a giant coin in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. As the name implies, it is a larger version of a coin. It is a common object found in many levels. Each Large Coin is worth 10 coins and 500 points. Mini-Mario can collect Large Coins simply by coming into contact with them. The Large Coin is similar to the 10 Gold Coin, which is also worth 10 coins.
The Large Coin is also in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
