:IMO, the battle doesn't look like a Pokémon battle at all; you can't see your character, there are no attack animations, etc. It's a lot more similar to Mother than Pokémon, though it seems more like a reference to classic RPG games in general (Mother is by far not the only game with battles like this; they don't look like this at all in Pokémon, however).--[[User:Vellidragon|vellidragon]] 11:33, 24 February 2010 (EST) |
