Hot Rope Jump is a mini-game in Mario Party and Mario Party 2 where characters Jump over a jump rope made of Podoboos while on a rock platform in the middle of a lava sea. The Podoboos speed up faster and faster as the mini-game goes by, and to win, the player must simply survive until no other player remains. In version 1 of this, whoever is touched by the Podoboo rope loses coins, also if the 4 players reach 20 jumps. They all win.
Introduction
As an introduction to this mini-game, giant blue Podoboos bounce around the little island and spawn many little red Podoboos, and they line up as a jump rope. The partiers in the game line up moments later, ready to play the mini-game.
Trivia
- The name of this game is a play on the words "hot", and "jump rope".
