The Yoshi Car is a form that Yoshis can transform into in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island by touching a Morph Bubble containing its picture.
A Yoshi Car moves faster than a regular Yoshi and is smaller, enabling it to fit through small openings. Pressing the B button will stretch its wheels for a short time, making it possible to avoid enemies or reach higher platforms. When repeatedly done near a wall, this also enables the player to "climb" up the wall.
The Turbo Yoshi car that Yoshi possesses in the Mario Kart: Double Dash!! bears some resemblance to the Yoshi Car. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, artwork of the Yoshi Car appears as a sticker.
Trivia
- Despite the artwork that is featured on this page being light blue, the Light Blue Yoshi never gets an opportunity to morph in a Yoshi Car.
- In Wario Land: Shake It!, Hot Roderick has the ability to stretch the wheels of his car in a similar manner to the Yoshi Car.
