Book It!

Book It! is a 2 vs. 2 mini-game in Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on the expression "book it!", which means to run quickly. In this game, the player and their partner must reach the top of a stack of books. To do this,they must press A, B, Y, and X in the aforementioned order as quickly as possible two times. Their teammate must then do the same thing. This will raise the one who did not press the buttons onto the next step. The game continues until one team reaches the top. The CPU players will move either fast or slow on which difficulty they are on. In this game, a record can be set for the time it takes to arrive at the top of the stack.
