- “Got a thorn in my foot.”
- —Magmite, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Magmites are rock-shelled Buzzy Beetles from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, that can be encountered in the Moleville Mines. As they don't have any special attack, they attack by headbonking Mario and his allies. Magmites have high defense compared to their low HP, and they are strong against Mario's Jumps. Their only weakness is ice, so an Ice Bomb or Mallow's Snowy works well against them.
They have a stronger relative, called Magmus, found in Barrel Volcano, but the coloring is similar.
Trivia
- Magmite might be related to Stone Buzzy, as they are both Buzzy Beetles with a rocky shell. However, this is likely to be a coincidence.
