- The Chain Chomp was going to be an item, but it was replaced in favor of the Bullet Bill. However, the Chain Chomp Theme (similar to that of Double Dash's theme, but with a melody, extended bass line and bridge. This theme appears in Mission Mode level 5-1, where Peach has to race a stray Chain Chomp here.
