Dash Coins
Dash Coins are special types of coins that have only been seen in New Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. At first glance, Dash Coins appear to be an outline of a Coin. In this state, they cannot be collected. However, if Mario or another character are to make contact with the coin in any way, it will turn into a regular coin. Dash Coins are somewhat rare and only appear in a few levels.
