The Pianta Judge holds trial for Mario when the Isle Delfino is vandalized by a figure resembling the poor plumber in the events of Super Mario Sunshine. Although Peach tries to object, the judge finds Mario guilty (the truth is he was framed by Shadow Mario) and orders him to clean off the entire island. It makes its only appearance in Super Mario Sunshine.
Quotes
- "Court is now in session!" – Super Mario Sunshine
- "Overruled!" – Super Mario Sunshine
- "I judge the defendant guilty as charged!" – Super Mario Sunshine
- "I hereby order the defendant to clean this entire island." – Super Mario Sunshine
- "Until Isle Delfino is completely free of his handiwork, Mario shall not be allowed to leave!" – Super Mario Sunshine
Trivia
- The trial is very one-sided, as there are no jury, no witnesses, no statement from the defense, and the trial is only about less than a minute. It can be assumed that the cutscene is just to inform the player on the situation.
- There is confusion of what the gender of the judge is, since it speaks with a feminine tone. But it also has a moustache, so it most likely is male.
