A Gold Medal is an item found solely in the Wii game Super Paper Mario. They can only be acquired by purchasing them at Notso's shop in Flopside for five-hundred coins. When used, a Gold Medal adds 10,000 Points to the player's score.
When the Gold Medal is used under the effects of a Slow Flower or Speed Flower, it triples the points the player earns.
Gold Medals are the equivalent of ten Star Medals, which cost fifty coins and add 1,000 Points to the player's score.
