Turn off the alarm clock is the first story of chapter one in the game Wario Land 2. It takes place in several chambers of Wario's Castle. Wario wakes up from the commotion a giant alarm clock produces, so he gets up and searches for said clock. While doing so he encounters Black Sugar Pirates which patrol the corridors. Along the way Wario can break through certain walls finding many hidden rooms filled with coins, and the flat-ability is also introduced here. The level ends when the giant alarm clock is found and defeated.

Secret Exit

The player can find a secret exit in this level which leads him to an alternative version of chapter 2. In order to do so, the player must do absolutely nothing, so that Wario doesn't wake up at the beginning. After some time has passed the player will automatically win the level. The Black Sugar Pirates return and discover Wario is still asleep so they throw him out of the castle and claim it for themselves. Wario, now awake, has to take it back from them.
