Dust Buddies is a 4-Player and Duel minigame appearing in Mario Party DS. The name's title may be a pun on dust bunnies. The game starts with the four competitors walking down a hallway when a vacuum cleaner comes. Players must run away from the vacuum cleaner in the hallway to avoid getting sucked up, dodging obstacles, such as fluffs and buttons, along the way. What obstacles are located in a given location and how many there are change in each game. If the player is on a ribbon or a photo negative, they are most likely going to get sucked up faster. If the player is on a dust bunny, they will slow down. If the player hits a button, they will fall down. The ball is just a regular obstacle.
