Some Toads have been infected with the 'Blorbs and are now in a hospital resting.

The Blorbs is a mysterious disease that is central to the plot of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. During the events of the game, it has spread all over the Mushroom Kingdom and infected many a Toads. Once infected with this disease, victims are taken aback as they grow large and round. It is caused by a poisoned food supply. The Miracle Vaccine eventually cures all those afflicted. It is unknown if Fawful was responsible or had anything to do with the disease as of now.
