Gulpits are large, fat, purple, green-footed, three-toed beasts with rather long pink tongues. Their names are word play off "gulp" and "it".
Gulpits only appear in the game Paper Mario. They are found in the icy Shiver region. They attack by picking up stones in their mouths, and spitting them back out at the offender, causing their opponents damage. They can also attack by licking their enemy with their tongue. Mario encounters Gulpits on Shiver Mountain and in Shiver Snowfield during the events of the game.
