Piranha Planets are small Pipe Worlds teeming with miniature Piranha Plants equipped with space suits and phasers in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. The four Mario Bros. encountered many of these strange planets during their adventure in the Star Shrine.
Attacks
- Teleports at the top of the screen, and the Mario Bros. must hit it while it falls down. Bounces back up, and the Mario Bros. must hit until it stops. Much damage can be done to the Piranha Plant if the Bros. can counterattack skillfully.
- Shoots a laser. When it comes out of the top of its planet, it shoots it at Mario. At the bottom, it shoots out at Luigi.
- Spawns eight red and green Piranha Plants from outer Pipes, then spins around rapidly. The red plants are fired individually at Mario, the green Piranha Plants at Luigi. The Bros. must dodge the plants by Jumping.
