Speed Hockey is a two-on-two hockey mini-game in Mario Party 2. It involves the two teams on squares trying to block the Koopa shell going into their goal and make it go into their opponent's goal, as in real-life hockey. Much in the vein of classic arcade game Pong, the players may only move up and down to bounce the shell back. If the shell does not get to each other's goals after a certain time, the shell will go faster until it goes in one of the other team goal. The first team to get three goals wins. In Mario Party Micro, the object to complete the game is he same, only the shell has hyper-speed, making it harder to hit.
