The Great Sunflower is a giant sunflower located outside Pinna Park in Super Mario Sunshine. The Great Sunflower watches over the Sunflower Kids, but unlike them, the Great Sunflower is much larger and is brown instead of yellow.
In one episode in Pinna Park, Snooze-a-Koopas start chewing up their roots. Mario must defeat the Snooze-a-Koopas to rescue them. The Great Sunflower will reward him with a Shine Sprite.
