Template:Newsubject Template:Character-infobox Metal Sonic is a robotic enemy character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series created by Dr. Robotnik. As with Shadow the Hedgehog, he is one of Sonic's rivals, and despite being a robotic copy of the original, he believes that he's the real Sonic.

Metal Sonic first made a cameo appearance as a collectable sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Metal Sonic will appear in the upcoming Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games as a playable character. As of now, he has been confirmed in a trailer during the E3 2009, competing against Shadow the Hedgehog, Luigi and Daisy in Speed Skating, and was seen near the end of the trailer with Waluigi and Dr. Eggman. ^[1]
