Blue Spaces are spaces in the Mario Party series that when a character lands on it they will get three coins (six and in later games, nine at the five last turns). They appear in every Mario Party game (In Mario Party 8, the shape was different with each board, including the tutorial). They are the spaces people land on most often. If the player lands on one and all other players land on red spaces, or vice versa, it will trigger a 1 vs. 3 minigame.
In New Super Mario Bros. there are also Blue Spaces. The Blue Spaces stand for a level that has been beaten by Mario or Luigi. If they haven't beaten the level, the space is a Red Space.
