The Torpedo (also known as Spear in North America) is a bike in Mario Kart Wii that can only be used by heavy-weight characters. It looks like a blimp with wheels and exhaust pipes. The character's emblem is on the front of the bike. It's also seen on either side of it.
It is the fastest bike in the game, and also has good weight. However, all of its other stats are quite low. In fact, its off-road is equivalent to the Flame Flyer's off-road.
The kart counterpart for this bike is the Jetsetter.
The Spear can be earned by unlocking 12 expert staff ghosts.
