The Airship Fortress is the fourth and last course of the Star Cup in Mario Kart DS. In the course, racers drive in an airship, get shot out of a Pipe Cannon, and reach one of the Koopaling's towers modeled after Super Mario World. The airship is from Super Mario Bros. 3. In the course, racers have to avoid Bullet Bills, Rocky Wrenches, burners, and crates. The track is best known probably by its launcher, which shoots the player to the tower near the end of the course. Airship Fortress is the only course in the entire Mario Kart series to feature Bullet Bills being shot right at a player. Missions 6-2 and 7-7 take place here.
