The Jailrun contain either a Bob-omb or a Goomba. When one of the characters defeat the enemy, the trapped minion will throw a mushroom to the character as thanks.  
Jailruns contain either a [[Bob-omb]] or a [[Goomba]] inside of them. It has a cannon and shield for arms. They attack by either shooting cannon balls at the characters with their cannon or ramming into the character with their shield. [[Bowser]] can withdraw into his shell to avoid being hit by the cannon balls and has to punch the Jailrun repeatedly to avoid being hit by it's shield. After a Jailrun is defeated, the minion will come out of the cage and reward the character with a [[Mushroom]].
