Appearance
Electrogoombas are odd-looking Goombas. They have smooth skin with a blue head and yellow spots all over their bodies. They have a round mouth, like a Snifit, and attack with a headbutt. Unlike regular Goombas, Electrogoombas only patrol a very small set area. They also have yellow glowing eyes and a small antenna on the top of their head.
Sub-species
One sub-species of Electrogoomba is a brown color. It is immobile, but can shoot projectiles at Mario, which include harmless coconuts that need to be hit back. They make a strange squeaking noise before they shoot. This variety often appears in pre-boss levels and serve as mini-bosses. Gray Electrogoombas only shoot fire, and therefore Mario must use shells to destroy them. Another species is red, and shoots rocks from their tubular mouths.
