The Power Platform is an arena Bowser used during the final fight in Paper Mario. It is powered by Kammy Koopa's evil magic. This was Bowser's secret weapon and last chance at defeating Mario and his teammates, even after Team Mario showed up with the rescued Star Spirits. Using this Platform, Bowser was able to increase his size and power and become totally invincibleby preventing the Star Spirits' Star Beam from taking away the power of the Star Rod. However, the effect of the Power Platform could be cancelled again after the Star Beam was upgraded to Peach Beam. After Team Mario defeated Bowser and recovered the Star Rod, the Platform began to malfunction, destroying it and Bowser's Castle in the process.
