In this Microgame, [[Wario]] appears to be in some kind of area... but filled with [[Coin]]s for the greedy guy to gather. The player controls Wario and the objective is that the player has to collect the remaining Coins in the maze. The maze that appeared on the screen contains the remaining Coins. Additionally, paths that are connected to one of the sides on the screen connect to the opposite path for the player to use to collect the Coins quickly. If the player collects all the remaining Coins in the maze before the [[Wario Bomb]] counts to 0, the player beats the Microgame.

The Maze That Pays is the third microgame that is found in the game, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!.

After unlocking the Microgame, the player can play this microgame by picking the "Grid" selection on the bottom side of Wario's computer and opening the "Introduction" folder.
