The move turns Luigi giant, not unlike the effects of the [[Mega Mushroom]] in ''[[New Super Mario Bros.]]'' Super Luigi! enables Luigi to squish other players in his way, although this also affects players on Luigi's team. The Super Ability maxes out Mario's shooting, so squashing all opponents can allow him to do a charged shot for a chance at scoring. The move ends after ten seconds, although it can end prematurely by starting a [[Mega Strike]]. The move does not allow Luigi to go through [[Kritter|goalies]], and it can be countered if a player either slides into Luigi or hits him with an item.
[[Mario]]'s Super Ability, [[Super Mario!]], works the same way, as do the effects of the [[Mega Mushroom]]s that are featured in other games.
 
[[Mario]] has an almost identical Super Ability titled [[Super Mario!]], except his orchestrated theme plays, not Luigi's flamenco theme.

Super Luigi! is Luigi's Super Ability in Mario Strikers Charged. It is activated when Luigi gets his Special Item, which is shown as Luigi's Head. Once executed, Luigi will become giant and will be able to squash other players for a few seconds. He is capable of squashing both the opposing team players, and his own team players. The move will wear off after about 10 seconds, or if he starts a Mega Strike. Although Luigi is able to squish all of the players, it cannot go through the goalies, and the move can be countered if a player slides into Luigi.

Mario's Super Ability, Super Mario!, works the same way, as do the effects of the Mega Mushrooms that are featured in other games.
