More of a nuisiance than a real threat
A Deep-Cheep is a special variety of Cheep-Cheep found in New Super Mario Bros. Unlike regular Cheep-Cheeps, they are green and will actively hunt Mario and Luigi down in the underwater levels. They can only be fooled by swimming far enough away.
