Spikesters are relatives of Spikeys and Oerlikons, and likely relatives of Spinies and Buzzy Beetles. These creatures were green-shelled, unlike the purple Oerlikons and the red Spikeys. They have only appeared in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Spikesters were common in Booster Pass; most of them were dropped by a Lakitu flying overhead. They did not appear anywhere else in the game. They were quite easy to defeat, as they only had one special attack. They're aided by Carroboscis and Artichokers.
